About
Health Project Partners, LLC was created in 2006 by Lindsey Hoggle, after successful consulting in health information technology, systems and strategy since 2001. Lindsey has worked in a variety of diverse health care settings during the past 30 years. After 15+ years in clinical hospital settings, academia and private practice, she transitioned to the health information systems consultant environment. Beginning with a two-year prototype software implementation project at the National Institutes of Health, she continued to work for small businesses in health information system design and implementation, process redesign and visionary e-health projects.  Having lived in the Washington, DC Metro area for 17 years and regularly attending health care conferences, policy sessions, and health IT initiative discussions, she comfortably transitioned to involvement with the Health Information Technology for Economic & Clinical Health (HITECH) Act policy proceedings in Washington, DC.

Lindsey holds a B.S. in Nutrition from Winthrop University and a M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a certificate in Project Management for Information Technology/Information Systems Professionals from Villanova University. She completed the American Medical Informatics Association’s (AMIA) 10x10 Training Program through Oregon Health & Sciences University and is now co-instructing the same course with a first ever focus on nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD) who has spoken at the local, state, and national level and published numerous articles on the emerging field of nutrition informatics and health information technology.

She presently blogs on Nutrition Informatics for the American Dietetic Association (ADA), a 71,000 professional member organization representing the largest group of nutrition and food experts in the world. She has served as Co-Chair of the American Dietetic Association Nutrition Informatics Work Group since 2007 and now advises the ADA on organizational strategy for inclusion of nutrition care in health information technology.  She also serves as Chair of the Consumer Health Informatics Working Group with the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). She is a recipient of the S.C. Recognized Young Dietitian Award (1987) and the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center Directors Award (2004).
